Ferdinand Manlagñit Brizo, better known by his radio name Ferdie Brizo or FB for short, is the founder and station manager (SM) of Radyo Peryodiko as well as the founder/publisher and editor-in-chief of the first multi-lingual and longest (16 years as of Oct 2022) weekly local newspaper in the province of Catanduanes, the Bicol Peryodiko. He is a skilled anchorman, newswriter and column writer who can manage both musical and news segments (public affairs). One of the island province’s well-respected news anchors and column writer, noted for his impartial commentary, news analysis and commitment to his radio show.

He worked as an anchorman, reporter, newswriter, and then as a correspondent for Bombo Radyo Legazpi, in Albay from 1997 to 2005. He was the former general manager of Radyo Natin Virac in 2006 before he officially founded the Bicol Peryodiko newspaper in 2006 and the Radyo Peryodiko in 2016, respectively. He was the first Catandunganon renowned as a publisher and station manager at the same time due to his passion for both print and broadcast media. At the beginning of Facebook video live way back in 2016, he was also the first to debut the broadcast in Catanduanes, if not in the Bicol Region thru Bicol Peryodikotv (BPTV).

He also founded the most famous training facility, as free training ground for aspiring journalists in the province of Catanduanes, called the Bicol Peryodiko Print and Broadcast Academy (BP-PBA), as part of his social responsibility as a businessman and a broadcaster. The program has benefited over 250 students since its inception in 2016 and is still going strong today.
