Naitala sa lalawigan ng Catanduanes ang isa sa pinakamataas na bilang ng covid-19 positive mula nitong Enero 2021.

Sa datus ng DOH, may kabuuang 25 na kaso ang naitala sa buong lalawigan, kung saan ang 16 sa naturang bilang ay mula sa bayan ng Virac, kung kaya’t pumalo na sa 39 ang aktibong kaso sa capital town.

Walo (8) sa labing anim (16) sa bayan ng Virac ay mula sa San Isidro Villaga (SIV) samantalang, tig-iisa naman ang mga barangay ng Cabihin, Lanao, San Pablo, Concepcion, Valancia, Sogod-Tibgao, Buenavista at San Pablo.

Lima (5) naman ang naitala sa bayan ng Bagamanoc, 2 sa Panganiban at tig-iisa ang mga bayan ng Baras at Gigmoto. ito ang ikalawang kaso ngayong 2021 sa bayan ng gigmoto.

Narito ang Ulat ng Provincial Health Office ng Catanduanes hinggil sa detalye ng mga bagong nagpositibo sa lalawigan.

Dahil dito nasa 90 naman ang kabuuang aktibong kaso sa kasalukuyan samantalang, nasa 19 naman ang cumulative na bilang ng mga namamatay.

Patient Bicol No.16546 is a 27-year-old, male, government employee from Baras. Close contact of a confirmed positive case. He was noted to have sore throat and diarrhea on June 11, 2021 and was isolated.

Patient Bicol No.16547 is a 21-year-old, male, frontliner from Bagamanoc. Close contact of a confirmed positive case. He was noted to have cough and colds on June 14, 2021 and was isolated.

Patient Bicol No.16548 is a 40-year-old, male, frontliner from Gigmoto. History of exposure is yet to be established. He was noted to have fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat and dyspnea on June 16, 2021 and was isolated.

Patient Bicol No.16550 is a 26-year-old, female, private employee from Virac. Close contact of a confirmed positive case. She was noted to have dyspnea, clogged nose, lower back pain, loss of sense of smell and loss of sense of taste on June 14, 2021 and was isolated.

Patient Bicol No.16556 is a 70- year-old, male, from Bagamanoc. History of exposure is yet to be established. He was noted to have fever, cough, general weakness, coryza, dyspnea and backpain June 10, 2021 and was admitted to a hospital facility.

Patient Bicol No.16557 is an 80-year-old, male, from Virac. History of exposure is yet to be established. He was noted to have cough, general weakness and difficulty of breathing on June 18, 2021 and was admitted to a hospital facility.

Patient Bicol No. 16558 is a 36-year-old, female, private employee from Virac. Close contact of a confirmed positive case. She was noted to have cough, diarrhea and colds on June 4, 2021 and was isolated.

Patient Bicol No.16559 is a 43-year-old, female, government employee from Virac. History of exposure is yet to be established. She was noted to have sore throat and colds on June 18, 2021 and was isolated.
