Virac, Catanduanes – In a recent reshuffle affecting five officials in the Bicol Region, the Provincial Director of Catanduanes undergoes a change in leadership.

Outgoing Provincial Director, P/Col. Benjamin B. Balingbing, takes on the role of Chief of the Regional Information Communication Technology Management Division.

Stepping into the position is the new Provincial Director, Police Colonel Ryan V. Ador. P/Col. Ador, originally from Legapi City in Albay province, transitions from his previous role as the Chief of the Regional Information and Communication Technology Management Division at Camp Simeon Ola.

Acting Regional Director PBGEN ANDRE PEREZ DIZON spearheads the turnover ceremony on January 5, 2023, for the Provincial Director of Catanduanes PPO and City Director of Naga City Police Office.

PBRIGEN. Dizon explains that this change aligns with the ongoing efforts of the PNP to enhance the skills and expertise of personnel within the unit, with the goal of elevating the level of service provided to the public.

The reshuffling of officials underscores the dedication to ensuring that each official is strategically placed to maximize their capabilities, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Police Regional Office 5 as a crucial force.

Expressing gratitude for his reassignment, PD Balingbing acknowledges the police force across the entire province of Catanduanes after nearly a year and eleven months of service on the island. During his tenure, he successfully implemented the vital role and mandate of the PNP to bring it closer to the citizens.

Simultaneously, at the same event, PCOL ERWIN LANUZGA REBELLON assumes the position of the new City Director of Naga CPO, succeeding former PCOL NELSON A. PACALSO. PCOL PACALSO, on the other hand, has been transferred to the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Section while awaiting his next assignment.
