Virac, Catanduanes – The Community Outreach Mobile Brigada Pagbasa and Mobile Story Book Pantry: Eduk Kariton with the theme “Bayanihan sa Pagbasa para sa Batang Viracnon” was successfully launched at Pajo San Isidro Elementary School on July 8, 2023. The event was organized with the participation of the Virac Police, led by PMAJ ROBERT KEVIN T CAPARROSO, COP, and Ms. Mary Liza I. Timola, Head Teacher of Talisoy Elementary School, Ms. Rita Soriao, School Principal of Pajo San Isidro Elementary School, and Mr. Ruben Jose Tria, School Principal of Antipolo Elementary School.
Also present were Mayor Samuel Laynes and Barangay Chiefs from Brgy. Pajo San Isidro, Hicming, San Isidro Village, Antipolo del Sur, Antipolo del Norte, and Talisoy, all beneficiaries of the program.
The gathering was attended by Volunteer Teachers, Barangay Captains, partner school heads, collab teachers, visitors, parents, and most importantly, the students.
The Virac MPS expresses deep gratitude for being part of this initiative and contributing solutions to the best of their abilities.
The goal of this program is to become a partner of teachers, parents, and youth, with the police showing care and concern for the welfare of every child. (via Virac MPS)
