Viga, Catanduanes – The blessing of the DBP Viga Branch Lite unit, located inside the new municipal building of Viga, is set to take place today, December 18. The blessing will begin at 11:30 AM, led by Rev. Fr. Ernie T. Tatualia.
Officials from DBP national will attend the event, including Senior Vice President Carolyn I. Olfindo, acting head of the Branch Banking Sector, and SVP Nomerlito A. Juatchon, head of the Banking Group in the Bicol Region.
Local officials from Catanduanes are also expected to attend, led by Governor Patrick Alain Azanza, Congressman Leo Rodriguez, and Viga Mayor Jennifer Tuplano, along with other mayors from the province of Catanduanes.
A ceremonial turnover of cash donations from DBP to the municipalities will also take place as assistance to those affected by Typhoon Uwan.
