More than 1,000 Catandunganons benefited from the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Tapat para sa Lahat” caravan, a special initiative from President Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr. on September 13, 2024.

As part of the event, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) distributed ₱3.5 million worth of Training Support Funds and starter tool kits. The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) provided TUPAD aid to 600 beneficiaries, while over 250 individuals received free medical services from the Provincial Health Office (PHO), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The Department of Agriculture (DA), Provincial Agricultural Services Office (PASO), and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) also participated by distributing seeds and offering support through the “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” program. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) launched a Discount Caravan, while the Catanduanes Provincial Police Office (CATPPO) facilitated Mobile Police Clearances. Meanwhile, PESO Catanduanes held a job fair, attracting over 200 walk-in jobseekers.

Joining the event were DICT Undersecretary Jeffrey Ian Dy and Presidential Management Staff’s Ms. Ma. Crisanta F. Cas.
