Virac, Catanduanes – Labing-limang indibidwal, establisyemento, at lokal na pamahalaan ang ginawaran ng parangal sa pinaka-unang “Tourism Ambassadors Awards Night” na isinagawa sa Regina Hall, Kemji Resort noong Oktubre 27, 2017 bilang pagkilala sa kanilang malaking kontribusyon sa pagpapaunlad ng turismo sa Catanduanes.
Kabilang sa mga pinarangalan ay sina Karlo Adrianne R. Aguilar dahil sa kanyang android application na ‘Go Catanduanes’ na online guide sa mga tourist spots at hotels sa probinsyang ito, si Ferdinand B. Ocol, sa kanyang mga kuhang larawan sa iba’t-ibang undiscovered tourist sites sa islang ito at ang rich biodiversity na pumatok sa social media, si Ezra Efondo, ang nag-organisa ng Catanduanes Reef Break na nagdala ng iba’t-ibang surfers sa Pilipinas, si Geno G. Castilla, bilang eco guide at sa patuloy na pakikilahok nito sa responsibleng ecotourism, si Patricia Mae A. Tariman ng Katandungan Traveland Tours at Rechie A. Toyado para sa tourism business ventures.
Kinilala rin ang Cardinal Shipping Lines (MV Silangan Express), Virac Town Center, Twinrock Beach Resort, Catanduanes Midtown Inn, Villa Tolledo Tourist Inn, Binurong Point Tour Guide Association, Catanduanes Surfers Association, Implings Latik and Native Delicacies, at LGU Pandan, ang nag-iisang munisipyo sa probinsya na tumanggap ng nasabing parangal,
