VIRAC, Catanduanes — Bicol Prosecutors and Staff conducted the 8th Regional Convention at Amenia Beach Resort on April 25-26, 2018.
The two-day activity focused on the theme: “Prosecutors as Guardians of Justice and Peace.”
According to Atty. Mary Jane L. Zantua, Provincial Prosecutor, being chosen as this year’s host is both a challenge and privilege adding that the activity also served as an avenue to introduce the beauty of Catanduanes.
In line with this, a presentation per prosecution office highlighted the team building activity which featured the talents and costumes of the participants.
An awarding ceremony was also held where the Catanduanes Provincial Prosecution Office headed by Atty. Mary Jane L. Zantua was awarded as Top Performing Prosecution Office in the bicol region by the Regional Prosecution Office for the Calendar Year, 2017, with a General Weighted Average of 99.83% (Disposition Rate, Case Aging, Prosecution Success Rate).
The Office also received another Certificate of Commendation for achieving 100% Disposition Rate.
