“Because most of the evidences have been disarrayed and faded after the warehouse had been wiped out by typhoon Nina on 2016. So the Court decided to remark and rephotograph them,” ayon kay Rigor.

“All evidences, after taking samples, will be burnt,” paliwanag ni Rigor. “While the edifice, under law, upon conviction and upon proper motion, will be forfeited in favor of the government including the whole parcel of the land where said edifice is erected.”

“We started in the filing of cases at the Catanduanes RTC. However, the Prosecution motioned for the inhibition of the local judge to try the case and we waited until the Supreme Court finally decided kung saang korte ipa-file ang kaso.”

Rigo, “We will make sure this case will be prosecuted to the fullest. We will strive for conviction, and to apprehend other accused who remained at large.”
