The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bicol is stepping up its efforts to reduce illegal drug operations in the region. According to Investigation Agent V Dennis C. Villamor, their regional office has conducted over PHP3,000 anti-illegal drugs operations from January to October this year.
Among these operations, 896 were intelligence operations, 1,327 were positive negation operations, and 1,538 were K9 inspections, all of which are part of the Regional Office Supply Reduction Operations. Currently, they continue to strengthen their reduction operations through ongoing inspections and profiling activities at airports and ports throughout the entire region.
