The construction of the new Legacy Building of the Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC) is in full swing, aiming to provide world-class medical services for Bicolanos and neighboring provinces.

This new 10-story medical facility, classified as a level 3 hospital, will house Specialty Centers such as the Heart Center, Lung Center, Cancer Center, and many more. The realization of this project is credited to the initiative of Ako Bicol Party List Rep. Elizaldy Co and the concern for the well-being of Bicolanos by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.

According to Cong. Zaldy, once the Legacy Building of BRHMC is completed, Bicolanos will no longer need to travel to Manila for specialized medical treatments, as the new hospital will include specialty centers like the Heart Center, Lung Center, Cancer Center, and others.

The in-patient department will have a total of 433 beds, while the eight Operating Rooms and Intensive Care Unit will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to ensure the safety of operations and the recovery of patients.

The Legacy Building will feature the latest medical technology, including advanced imaging devices like MRI and CT scans, as well as modern laboratories for accurate patient diagnoses.

A half-way house or temporary residence will also be provided for the companions of patients or patients themselves who come from distant places.

The Legacy Building of BRHMC is just one of the infrastructure projects initiated by Ako Bicol Party List Rep. Elizaldy Co, aiming to enhance and develop the Bicol region and improve the quality of life for every Bicolano. (AKB)
