The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in Virac successfully launched the Automated Counting Machine (ACM) Roadshow Kick-off Presentation today at the PSA Conference Hall as part of preparations for the upcoming May 12, 2025, National and Local Elections.

The roadshow aims to familiarize the public and stakeholders with the new features of the ACM and demonstrate its operation to ensure a transparent and efficient election process.

COMELEC Virac Election Officer Atty. Maria Theresa Dolores expressed gratitude to PSA Head Engr. Anavi Camacho for allowing the use of the PSA Conference Hall for the event. “Thank you so much to PSA Head, Engr. Anavi Camacho, for accommodating us and to the representatives of various agencies who supported and attended this important kick-off activity,” she said.

The event was attended by representatives from government agencies, who lauded the initiative as a significant step toward modernizing and improving the election system in the province.
