The Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) Summit and Christmas Fellowship of the Catanduanes Police Provincial Office took place successfully on December 16, 2023, at Twinrock Beach Resort, Barangay Igang, Virac, Catanduanes.
The event was attended by members of CATPPO PAGPTD, including each Chairperson of the Municipal Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (MAGPTD) from eleven Municipal Police Stations, and the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development from two Provincial Mobile Force Companies.
The summit aimed to strengthen the collaboration between the Philippine National Police, Advisory Groups, and the community. During the gathering, participants discussed ways to further solidify the partnership, opening avenues for concrete programs and projects towards success in transformation.
Simultaneously, a Christmas Fellowship for PAGPTD was held as part of the festive holiday celebrations. The Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) serves as a civilian recommendatory body for the Philippine National Police.
They act as external partners in the effective implementation of the long-term transformation strategy of the Philippine National Policeโthe PNP Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding of the Rule-Of-Law or the P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030. The group is responsible for providing their ideas, perspectives, experiences, and best practices to law enforcement agencies to strengthen collective efforts towards a safer and more secure community. | via CATPPO
