Virac, Catanduanes – The City Government of Davao extended a helping hand to Catanduanes, officially turning over ₱1 million in cash assistance to the Provincial Government on Tuesday.
This financial aid is intended to support recovery efforts in areas severely affected by Typhoon Kristine last month.During the visit, representatives from Davao City handed the donation to Governor Joseph “Boboy” Cua, emphasizing their commitment to aiding communities impacted by natural disasters.
The assistance is part of Davao City’s ₱17 million fund allocated to various provinces, cities, and municipalities across the country that bore the brunt of the typhoon’s devastation.Governor Cua expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the generous support, noting the significant impact the aid will have on ongoing relief and rehabilitation initiatives in the province.
