Catanduanes State University’s leadership joyfully announces the initiation of a 300 million project aimed at constructing a coliseum on a one-hectare plot within the campus.

In a statement by President Patrick Azanza, he indicated that the initial phase, valued at 100 million, is slated to commence this year, with the entire project anticipated to conclude within a three-year timeframe.

The realization of this endeavor is credited to the backing of Ako Bicol Partylist, spearheaded by Cong. Zaldy Co and Atty. Pido Garbin.

Reports confirm the project’s successful awarding, and a preliminary meeting with the contractor and DPWH representatives occurred today. Furthermore, the schedule for groundbreaking ceremonies has already been established.

This advancement is anticipated to bolster tourism in the province, given that the coliseum will feature ample parking and a health office.

It is projected to host around 1,200 individuals, rendering it suitable for organizing conventions and sizable national conferences. (BP News team)
